Introduction
We manufacture high-quality disposable paper plates made from kraft paper with a grammage (GSM) range of 70–180 g/m². For our premium “gold-kraft” range (i.e., plates above 100 GSM), we use kraft paper of a higher Burst Factor (BF) to ensure greater strength and durability.
Variants & Strength Differentiation
- Standard plates: 70–100 GSM – suitable for regular use and lighter loads.
- Premium gold-kraft plates: > 100 GSM (up to 180 GSM) – paired with a higher BF, these plates are built for heavier use and provide enhanced rigidity and load-bearing capacity.
- The higher BF specification aligns with industry norms for strong kraft paper: for example, a kraft paper at 140-180 GSM may have BF values in the 18–24 range.
Why This Matters
By using higher GSM together with increased BF for the gold-kraft range, we deliver paper plates that:
- don’t bend or sag easily under food load,
- maintain shape & presentation on the table,
- offer better perceived quality for premium events or catering.
